Bivouac around the Refuge d'Ayous

The shelter don't rent of tent or bivouac equipment.

You have access to the sanitary facilities of the refuge (provide your toilet paper, ecological soap).

There is no shower.

You can book catering provided you order in advance,

in season by telephone, out of season by email.

You can bivouac around the refuge by respecting the Pastoral regulations as well as those of the Pyrenees National Park EXPLAIN BELOW:

Regulatory Questions:

1. Why a ban?

This area has been prohibited for security reasons, in particular with regard to the cohabitation between the herds, and given the large number of campers in this area.
2. Date of ban?

Period from July 1 to September 30.
3. What are the regulations of the Pyrenees National Park?

It is forbidden to bivouac in the heart of the PNP except between 7 p.m. and 9 a.m. (equipment completely dismantled and evacuated at this time).
Why this regulation?

It helps protect biodiversity and the beauty of landscapes.
4. Risk if the regulations are not respected?

The agents of the Pyrenees National Park check the application of this regulation and possibly can sanction its non-respect.
